My wife and I have been swaying the liberal gals who have kids with the simple reference to the US Debt Clock's calculation of what their kids and grandkids already are supposed to owe as their "share" of the lunacy which has been the Democrats and RINOs in Congress and governments, local to federal.

Once, "your kids (and grand kids as applicable) owe ~$250+ K EACH" gets past the Lefty mind excuses, they seem to sober up rather nicely.

We know one family of libs with two kids and two grandkids. Doing the calculation for them -- it took several times -- to show their children's future indebtedness was an eye-opener.
