Former President Donald Trump posted to his Truth Social account that he is encouraging all "willing states to deploy their [national guard] to Texas to prevent to entry" of illegal immigrants.
Trump made the call to do so after Texas Gov. Gregg Abbot declared an invasion and invoked Texas' right to "self-defense" in the First Article of the Constitution. At least 14 states have signaled supporting Texas in its efforts.
Florida already has. Long ago. Not that I’d expect Trump to acknowledge that.
I see that my state with it’s Leftist Republican governor DeWine is not on the list.
Not surprised in the least.

Amen, brother. My family and I moved here to get away from the bankruptcy policies I tried in vain to vote against for many years - Texas is an independent-minded state and I pray we do the Lone Star proud!
