My colleague Mike Miller previously reported about scuttlebutt afoot regarding replacing Joe Biden with Michelle Obama as the Democrats' 2024 presidential nominee. I wrote earlier about a report that the Obamas were worried about Biden's chances, that Obama had been yelling at him to step things up or get out, and reports they were working behind the scenes to encourage him to get out of the race.

But now there's more from Megyn Kelly, talking about a report from NY Post columnist Cindy Adams about the "plan" in the works. Now, again, take all reports with a grain of salt and question anything from "sources" but Adams says she's being told the timeline. Kelly said there's been a reach out to donors that both she and Adams have heard about.
Here's what Adams says:
Reportedly, and I’m being told, “Obama has polled donors.”
His plan? Around May, Biden announces he’s not running (even mentally). The so-called plot is that come the August convention, Michelle gets nominated.

Mrs. Obama’s team has already sent a survey to heavy-duty donors asking how they’d feel about her as the candidate.
The process has begun.
Kelly also mentioned Michelle Obama's comments about being terrified for 2024, because leaders were so important and the government does "everything" for us.
What’s going to happen in this next election? I am terrified about what could possibly happen. Because our leaders matter, who we select, who speaks for us, who holds that bully pulpit, it affects us in ways that sometimes I think people take for granted. You know, the fact that people think that government, ‘Ahhh, you know, does it really even do anything?’ And I’m like, ‘Oh my God. Does government do everything for us, and we cannot take this democracy for granted.’ And sometimes I worry that we do.”
Now, I don't doubt Barack Obama likes power, but I'm not sure Michelle wants the job. Plus, while they may think that she could just step in and be nominated at the convention, it might not be as simple as they think. Others with experience beyond just being in the White House might rise and want to be heard in such a scenario. So this seems a rather complicated thing to try to pull off at the last hour, although she is very popular within the party. And Biden hasn't seemed to want to step aside so far — the plan requires him to comply. Jill Biden likes the spotlight. So that's another thing — they would have to somehow convince him to get out. It seems someone wants us to think this is a possibility. Are they floating a test bubble to see how it works or does Barack Obama think they could pull this off?
But the fact that this is even being floated at all is just one more confirmation of how weak Joe Biden is. That could explain why the reports about what Barack Obama and his aides are thinking re: Joe Biden have been percolating a lot over the past month, perhaps laying the groundwork, and why Michelle is suddenly making comments at all.
Republicans should be prepared for anything, as we see Democrats will try anything to retain control.

You haven’t been reading or listening to details of that “ pipe bomb” incident, as revealed by video
It was obviously preplanned and a false flag.
Like, the way the Secret Service stood around doing little, even letting a group of children cross the street there…no warnings …and the fact their “ sweep” failed to even detect the “bomb” hours before….and the tapes of the area for hours before that would show the identity of who planted it….missing or not released by FBI

This will get ugly if it is attempted and I doubt that it will be. One indicator to me is that the media has gone into full blown “Joe is Unstoppable” mode.

Let’s recap: There’s supposedly a letter to top DEMOCRATIC donors, and one of them decided to share it with a conservative (Murdoch-owned) newspaper — and not even with one of that paper’s political writers, but with a gossip columnist. And somehow we have corroboration from a former Fox News airstaff.
And even though there must be a whole bunch of people who supposedly got this letter, no other word of it has leaked out.
This doesn’t even rise to the level of rumor mongering. It’s rumor creating, trying to gin up a clickbait story out of absolutely nothing.

Big Mike wouldn’t need to do but a couple of hours a week of PR stunts, at most. All the same behind the scenes communists are doing the work. Biden does less than one hour a week of visibility and that is all he does.
With rigged elections, they could nominate and elect a pet rock. The pet rock wouldn’t need to do anything in office either.
Rats have turned the Presidency into a figurehead position similar to the King of England, no power, does nothing, just vacation and enjoy yourself.

Yup—I am as big a conspiracy theorist as anybody in these parts, but even the wackiest conspiracies I endorse have better evidence than the “Biden going away” claims.
I don’t believe Democrat politicians will go for this. It’s absurd.
As much sense as Laura Bush or Jill or Melania. Hillary was elected senator and served as Sec of State. Michelle was on the cover of Vogue and planted a garden.
Any nomination must be subject to a full gynecological examination and disclosure. If she’s a her for real, I promise an apology.

Different time for sure, but in 1968, the most disgusting man ever to hold the presidency, LBJ, announced he wasn't running for reelection at the end of March with the infamous '68 convention in Chicago still months away at the end of August.
