Me: Of what?
Bartender: This bar?
Me: [Staring at him with an inquisitive look of stupidity on my face]
Bartender: [Slides me a pen, form, and Crown on the rocks]
Me: YES! [Filling out said form]
A cop at the end of the bar watching and listening...just turned and walked away. LOL!
Haha nice. I visited a friend in North Carolina a few years after we both got out of the navy and I too had to become a member of whatever “club” we wanted to have a drink. Looked like regular bars to me with one exception. The only liquor they could serve were from the little airplane and hotel single serve mini bottles. So they all looked like bars but didn’t have all the regular big bottles poking up from behind the bar. I don’t know what kind of people come up with such laws. Determined people will always find a loophole.
