That generally proved true; that GOP group has all but disappeared - except Lindsey Graham! He has continued to advance in the pecking order in the nation's capitol. With his success he has failed to evidence his 'stand for the right' character of 1998. I remember seeing his picture with John McCain dealing in the dark with ISIS leaders; indeed, he seemed to follow McCain around like a puppy dog.
I have often wondered if Graham had to make some deals in order to survive the purge of GOP impeachers from 1998. Perhaps all this D.C. sex and corruption sewage seeping out of late supplies a logical answer. Certainly I do not see the courageous 'stand alone for the right' pioneer from the 1998 impeachment. ❓
