I think reading between the lines that they are not the ones giving money to Haley, but they are hoping to rope in other suckers to the events so that the people that attend give money to Haley.
That rally stinks. If you are a billionaire that believes in Haley’s chances, then write a check and be done with it. Why try to involve other hard-working people, other people with a lot less money than you and ask them to fork out money? Seems hypocritical to me.
