I’m a woman and I like men. But I have no idea how I could “assault” one. Knock him over in the alley? Then what?
No, not looking for help, just info:)
Manipulation. Especially when the female is an officer and the male is a private.
1AD in 2003 - 2004 lost more people from “pregnancy” than from enemy activity.
~ 1/3 of all females either became non-deployable shortly before, or became non-deployable when down range.
It became so bad and affected the units ability to conduct its mission, that the division surgeon had to brief the CG on this in his updates down range.
I have a son in the USN right now. I can talk candid with him, and what happens on his ship is more wild than the plot of a bad porn movie. I do not blame the guys or the gals because as far as I’m concerned, the policies we have in place today basically set the stage for this to happen.
You can talk about “professionalism” and “morals” or “standards” until you’re blue in the face. Sex is one of the most powerful basic human drives/urges. When you put boys and girls together for an extended time and they are of sexual age, it’s going to happen.
I’m glad you have your view and personal standards, I have mine too, but you cannot make policy/regulations based merely on how “we” see the world ourselves. There are many different people and in fact the same people go through different phases in their lives. The military is NOT made up by clones of ourselves.
When you create policy and regulations, these should set the stage for success, not failure (even if well intended).
We are failing these kids and weakening the force. This is form (inclusion / equality) vs. function.
Correct. They can have fun.
But our submarines are now coed. That's a big problem. We'll lose our nuclear deterrence.
Interesting.
Here’s the real question.. was it a tranny they’re identifying as a female?
I reread your post and I agree with your observation that putting men and women together in close quarters on a ship for long deployment is a horrible mistake. That’s amazing that a THIRD of females became “non-deployable.”
It’s amazing we make so many fundamental mistakes in society.
Thanks for your good input based on your son’s observations.
Patterns:
Patterns of behavior.
Multiple witnesses of same patterns.
Perhaps:
“Attention”!
“Your at attention soldier” ..grab some.
“You call that attention private?” ..grab some
“Your late”...grab some
“Where’s your _____”?....knee
I read that we're having more accidents in the Navy lately. Maybe it's just anecdotal. So I'm interested in gathering hard data compared to Reagan Era compared to nowadays.
Maybe that kind of information is classified.
