One person is dead and another is seriously wounded following a shootout at an apartment complex in Wichita Falls Sunday night.
Police were called to the Country Park Apartments in the 5200 block of Professional Drive about 9:30 p.m. to investigate a report of gunshots.
They found three people shot. All three were taken to United Regional Health Care where one person was pronounced dead. Police identified him as Quincy Moore, 32.
One of the wounded people, a 33-year-old man, told officers he lived in the apartment where the incident happened. According to a WFPD news release, the man said two men brandished guns and tried to rob him.
The resident also had a gun and exchanged shots. The other person who entered the apartment and was shot is in serious condition, according to WFPD. The resident was treated at the hospital and released.
Police said names of those involved will be released later.

Correction: Mostly of the XY variant, so only 6-7%
As falls Wichita, so falls Wichita Falls.
The anti-gun title neglects to mention the armed robbery and the fact that the deceased was one of the robbers. By calling it merely a shootout, the title makes the event about guns rather than about trying to protect oneself from criminals.
A Desert Island Disc for me.
Lyle was the best. RIP.
But, it's racist to notice.
25-30 years ago when I lived in Austin, TX, Jimmy Johnson had his Cowboys training camp in Austin. Because there was too much partying, he moved them to sleepy Wichita Falls. It sleeps no more.

...between the ages of 15 and 44, so roughly 2-3%.
And the shooter is......?
Country Park? Professional Drive? Sounds ghetto.
