LOL....now you have ventured into FANTASY DYTOPIALAND!

I bet that the Dems are having even MORE trouble thinking about what to do/who to call up, than we are! THERE'S NOBODY THERE!

Want to really go bizarro? How about AOC, with Harris still as VEEP?

Or Clinton/Jeffries!

Seriously, if I seem too far out there, it's because I have to go that far to find a ticket.

Clinton has been making the media rounds again, and it's not against her nature to try and take advantage of things. She may not be successful, but she will try.

If we look inside the Cabinet, we can resurrect the Mayor Pete candidacy, or maybe they'll choose Antony Blinken, or even worse serial liar John Kirby.

Maybe John Kerry stepped down as climate advisor to be ready to step in, even though he's now 80 years old. How about a Kerry/Gore ticket?

Back to an earlier name, how about Joe Manchin? Imagine a Manchin/Sinema ticket? Mark Kelly, Senator and astronaut? None of these are standout names, but they have recognition if not accomplishments.

In my opinion, none of these names can beat the motive of Trump voters for revenge against the left's abuse of all the arms of government against the people of the United States. The exit polls showed that immigration and the economy were the #1 and #2 issues in both Iowa and New Hampshire. I suspect that trend will continue in Nevada and South Carolina. As you pointed out, people are sick of the "crap" that's being foisted on them at every single turn.

At this point, I don't think there is anything that Democrats can do. I dropped the last paragraph of my post about the media coverage of the primaries in my response to antceecee, but this is the prediction I made after Iowa:

My prediction is that if Trump wins by at least 60% 50%, we will see a sudden increase in the urgency of resolving the court cases against Trump. Engeron in New York will release his guilty verdict on Trump by Wednesday instead of the end of January. Willis in Georgia will move to add more indictments. Smith will raid Mar-a-Lago again looking for more documents despite stays on the cases while SCOTUS reviews the immunity challenge.

Of course, this was before Fani Willis screwed the pooch, so to speak, but the point is still there. Democrats will go into overdrive on the lawfare front to stop Trump from being the nominee.

We will soon see just how far the left's judges will stray from "precedent" and "settled law" and towards any means necessary to find Trump guilty of something. If Democrats refuse to certify Trump election results, then it doesn't matter whom they run. They might as well run the ticket they wish to install into office at that point.

Can you imagine Democrat states outright rejecting to certify Trump wins after everything they said in the aftermath of January 6? I do think they see a MAGA win as an existential threat to themselves and are willing to burn down the country to stop it from happening. They will say they are "saving democracy" by demanding that their set of Electors be counted after indicting Trump for having "illegal" Electors.

That's where the Democrats are headed because they don't have a bench that can beat Trump.
