A wheel coming off sounds like lousy maintenance.

From what I've read passenger jet tires are replaced about every 3 months or so depending on flight cycles. A triple 7 with 14 tires may cost well over a million dollars every 3 months to replace the tires..

Wow, I did not know that. I will still bitch about how much my car tires cost.

(I would bitch a lot more if I had a Tesla, or worse a Rivian)

I don't know where the "million dollars" comes from.

Found this:
