Absolutely bizarre what’s going on with the airlines these days. I just saw this & didn’t bother to post it:
I’m beginning to think employee sabotage.
I’m beginning to think DEI emphasis in companies is beginning to impact employee training, quality, competence, safety and capability. If employees had been doing their jobs with correct and competent supervision, this should have never happened.
More likely the airlines laid off many skilled mechanics and maintenance workers during COVID and they hired too quickly and didn't train their replacements. And made a lot more "diversity" hires.
