I've spent a lot of summers up in Laconia area over the years. We have a place on Steele Hill in Sanborton which is next town over. So much to do there in the summer time. The bugs can be atrocious though, especially early in the season, which is a major downside.

In winter, it's given over to the skiers but I've never been fond of that!

I will try to be up for the 9PM speech - that's gets pretty close to my bedtime with a 4:30am wakeup call for the commute to Manhattan.

I think a lot of good news for Trump the past few days. Looks like Fani Willis is headed to the slammer. DeSantis dropped out and supported Trump. Nikki is losing support. Even the ridiculous ruling by the SC on the Texas border is positive for Trump in my opinion. Now we need him back in office even more so he can put a stop to the insanity.

Yes, you DO have a very early wake-up time. So IF you don't make it for the speech, you'll be missed, but we all understand why.
