Was it parked on the street, if so, did you put chairs in the space, once you took the car out?

We lived in Chicago for 17 years, so I know this stuff. :-)

No. No chairs. The whole block got together and dug the cars out. We were at University of Chicago, on 58th and Woodlawn. Previously we’d spent half a year at the Chicago Theological Seminary because they had some extra apartments. Ours was taken over by Jesse Jackson because he had kids and we had a 2 bedroom. Used to write nasty notes on his Operation Breadbasket signs in the laundry room.
