Burlington and Rutland VT, Somali town USA.
My son applied for and was accepted to a PHD program at UV Burlington. He went up and visited and decided against it. He stated that the whole area of Burlington smelled like POT. Everywhere you went. The whole town. A bunch of burnout hipsters.
I had not heard that about Rutland, VT though. I wonder if it has affected the tourist business at Killington and Pico.
Most major ski areas bring in kids from Brazil and other southern hemispheres countries to work there in the winter. It is their summer vacation. Last year when I was at Okemo I was waited on by a beautiful young lady from South Africa.
