The CDC is supposed to stockpile medical supplies and equipment. They depleted the stockpiles when the Ebola crisis hit and had nearly a decade to replenish them but never did.
They cried about a lack of ventilators in NY. Nevermind that it turned out ventilation likely caused more harm than good. Turns out NY had what was it 8000 ventilators in storage? Nobody knew about it or they deliberately hid then to make political noise.
The governor of Nevada rounded up all the local stockpiles of HCQ and IVM and stored them in a state prison so nobody could get their hands on it (or, to sell them in the black market?).
