They are called combination guns IIRC. 2 barrels, over/under. A friend had one many years ago. 22lr/.410. Made by Savage, I think.

Could be a Savage gun, but there are five other manufacturers as well.

Thanks for making me look that up. Relearning something I'd totally forgotten made it worth getting out of bed this morning!

Exactly what my brother had. His was 22 hornet and 410 shotgun.

The 22 hornet is a very fast bullet, great for Coyotes.

But not nearly as good as the 22-250. My brother had one of those too.

He died 1-1/2 ago. Think his son has it, but not sure.
