Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis reportedly gave significant contracts to her alleged lover’s law partner, raising concerns that Willis’s prosecution of former President Donald Trump is deeply rooted in a conflict of interest.

“It’s not just the issue about Wade being her paramour and the issue of kickbacks, but she also got the funds by misleading the Fulton County Commissioners about what the funds were going to be used for,” John Malcolm, vice president for the Heritage Foundation’s Institute for Constitutional Government, told the Daily Caller. “In addition to that, it would enrich [Wade’s] firm.”

Wade has been held in Contempt in recent past, and ran away with some money for GA’s Correction system, allegedly.
Fani Potamus wants the Wife with overdrawn Account kept from her and says process-servers are trying to interfere with her Election Interference case!
She used Federal Covid funds to pay her Boyfriend and Benefactor.
Big Fani’s Fani just got a little bigger. LOL! Go Big Fani!!!
When will Kemp return and genuflect to Ms. Willis?
Corrupt Fani.
Must be Trump’s fault. Corruption interference.
Willis is beyond disgraceful. Words fail in attempting to describe her.
Kemp is total pond scum and needs to have his reelection investigated to the millimeter.
Fani & Wade’s suit against Trump will be a doozy...multiple counts of erection interference as well
This sound like a billing problem like the Rose Law Firm, maybe for similar circumstances. Any attorney that bills for 24 hours on one date could get disbarred. Start there.
FTA-—Fani’s county Office of the District Attorney paid Christopher Campbell,
a partner at Wade & Campbell Firm, as much as $126,000 tax dollars since 2021.
“Willis hired Campbell as a ‘Taint Attorney’ reviewing privileged evidence beginning
in Jan. 2021 at a rate of $150 an hour,” documents obtained by the Daily Caller show.
Willis infamously appointed Campbell’s partner, Nathan Wade,
as a special prosecutor in her prosecution of President Donald Trump,
which means Wade got a cut of that (Joycelyn, are you taking notes?).
Willis and Wade traveled together as romantic partners. Willis paid Wade a whopping $695,000 tax dollars which means public monies financially benefited the romantic relationship.
I know lawyers have a bad reputation, but a taint attorney, working for Fani? You just can't make this stuff up.
“Taint teams,” in law are also referred to as filter teams or privilege teams. They are the government’s answer to finding tainted evidence.
Prosecutors and agents who are screened from the investigation team pass along only those communications that are neither privileged nor protected.
She got the of Fulton County District Attorney and thinks she above the law but more likely has no idea about law
“Bank records: DA Willis and special prosecutor traveled together during Trump probe”
Complete article:
“Bank records show that special prosecutor Nathan Wade purchased airline tickets in his and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ name for trips to San Francisco and Miami, according to a court motion filed Friday.
The filing was made on behalf of Joycelyn Wade in her divorce case with Nathan Wade in Cobb County Superior Court. Credit card statements in the filing appear to bolster allegations of a romantic relationship between Nathan Wade and Willis. The trips took place in 2022 and 2023, after Willis had hired Wade as the special prosecutor in the probe of election subversion by Donald Trump and his allies.
A spokesman for Willis did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Joycelyn Wade’s divorce attorneys have sought to depose Willis and in the filing on Friday criticized Willis’ attempt the day before to avoid giving a deposition in the case, calling her arguments disingenuous and specious.
Joycelyn Wade’s attorneys attached to the filing records from Nathan Wade’s Capital One bank account. It showed that he purchased $817.80 tickets for himself and Willis on April 25, 2023 with subsequent purchases at the Doubletree hotel in Napa Valley. There were also purchases of $477.21 plane tickets in both their names to Miami on Oct. 5, 2022 with accompanying purchases from Royal Caribbean Cruises totalling more than $2,600.
The tickets do not show whether Wade and Willis stayed in the same room but show they did go on trips together over the past year.
The relationship between Wade and Willis first emerged in filing by Ashleigh Merchant, attorney for Trump defendant Michael Roman. She contended that the relationship was improper because Willis financially benefited from the “lavish” vacations paid for by Wade, who has been paid more than $654,000 in legal fees for his work on the election interference case against former President Donald Trump and others.”
The AJC hates reporting on this. Wade’s wife has filed her Response to Willis’ earlier motion, but I can’t find an actual copy of the filing.
You can bet she got a sizable kickback.
More Georgia Corruption!
Indeed it makes one wonder how much the judges are making in that state and who’s paying for it?.
I haven’t yet seen anyone suggest that crimes were committed. It seems to be the salient question.
It isn’t just that the case needs to be dropped. People need to go to jail.
YES, here’s the crime:

As an Attorney I can assure you this is not just unethical, it is illegal. The actual legal term for what they did is called “Theft of Honest Services”. The larger liability they face is that for each case she brought against someone that Wade was paid for is another count. It could easily be charged as a RICO case. The systematic charging of crimes by the DA and the subsequent payments to Wade for working on those cases provided illegal benefits to them both. Hence the term, Theft of Honest Services. In essence it is illegal to charge someone with a crime so you or a boyfriend, spouse or relative, etc.. benefit from those charges in any way that would constitute a thing of value, monetarily or otherwise of value.
Thank you for clearing that up, TigerClaws. That is the salient issue here. This has been talked about like it is just some impropriety. It deserves to be described more plainly as a crime.
I have a sneaking suspicion that in every case President Trump has been accused of a crime, it is the accusers who are the actual criminals.
