House Democrats promised to bail out Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) if he were to do the “right thing” and help pass an immigration bill that would do little to combat the border crisis unfolding under President Joe Biden.
Johnson has said he opposes an immigration deal struck by Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) and Democrats.
Although he faces significant pressure from President Donald Trump and conservatives not to back the deal, Democrats are now offering to help him keep his speakership should he face a motion to vacate over his passing of the immigration bill.

I would assess that possibility at 100% correct. Democrats play hardball and I have no doubt they would make an offer of support to a Republican to betray other Republicans.
It is not likely they will deliver on whatever was promised for the betrayal. But it costs them nothing to make rumors of an offer.

I was shocked to hear that he believes the Biden was placed in office by God. I would not have believed that anyone with a room temperature IQ could be that stupid. He is a danger to the nation.
Somebody that stupid might think that if he opposed Biden, he is opposing God.
It turns out that Pelosi, for all practical purposes, is still the Speaker of the House. The little worm refuses to release the Jan 6 tapes, doing the bidding of Pelosi.
