The pipe line companies do not hire security because of the low risk. Cost benefit nothing has happen so nothing well happen.
So protecting our line isn’t worth the cost.
The Germans in WW2 could repair bombed rail lines in a day.
Pipeline companies would typically repair a pipeline in hours.
Big helicopters would fly in pipe sections.
