DeSantis simply lacks charisma and picked the wrong friends. He has shown himself to be more of a reactionary type rather than a politician with a thesis. He can’t figure out how to hit Trump without insulting him or his base. Glad we learned that before propping him up any further as a conservative standard bearer and ideological heir to Trump.
