It’s supposed to be “ . . . *defund* the police movement . . .”, not “defend the police”, right?
The police defunding is intended to be temporary.
Once the white officers are laid-off officers with more pigmented skin would replace them.
Democrats of color love unions but despise white union members.

I believe you are right. At about 9 minutes in, Seneca Scott starts talking about his realization that government did not have the best interest of the people at heart. He would still be considered a leftist but it is interesting to hear his thought process and how it changed beginning with Covid.
He talks about the larger promoters of “defund the police” being the rich and elite businesses owners who are promoting and producing A.I. security.
