Since 1984 they have missed only ONCE for a Republican presidential caucus, in 2012. They missed TWICE for Democrats, 2004 and 2020.
2004: Gephardt led poll, Kerry won
2012: Gingrich led poll, Santorum won
2020: Sanders led poll, Buttigieg won
Go ahead and discount it, no skin off my nose.
