I’m anxious to see how successful the attacks were. It shouldn’t take long to find out. What happens if more ships are attacked tomorrow? What’s our next escalation if necessary?

“The rule of proportionality requires that the anticipated incidental loss of human life and damage to civilian objects should not be excessive in relation to the concrete and direct military advantage expected from the destruction of a military objective.”

500 dead enemy combatants, 0 dead American soldiers is A-OK.

Easy choice for me. This means that Russia, Turkey and Iran approve of the brutal, savage attacks on Israeli citizens and other innoscents on Oct 7th by Hamas. Ef’em -

Why is Turkey still a NATO member nation?
That makes no sense.
While I understand the strategic interests, having spent 15 months in Turkey while in the US Army, back in the day, I do not see that overrides the concerns of them being currently more aligned with the Islamic nations of the region.

Russia, Turkey, Iran

Main participants of the Gog/Magog war, and the very same nations that God will destroy.

Russia, Turkey and Iran are not natural allies.

Turkey and Iran see each other as being the wrong flavor of Muslim, and historically also regional rivals. To say nothing of Russia and Turkey being old enemies and Russia wanting control of the Bosporus.

It is an alliance of convenience against a common enemy.
