Gov. J.B. Pritzker on Friday sent Texas Gov. Greg Abbott a sweeping letter about the ongoing migrant crisis, urging him to stop dropoffs during a dangerous winter storm.
“While action is pending at the federal level, I plead with you for mercy for the thousands of people who are powerless to speak for themselves,” Pritzker said in the letter. “Please, while winter is threatening vulnerable people’s lives, suspend your transports and do not send more people to our state.”

The “strange reason” that illegals want to go to the Chicago area is that there are many businesses there that will hire them. I am told that there are promoters and recruiters in Mexico that screen and direct illegals to specific businesses along with the kind of fake IDs they should present and stories they should tell to get hired.
Yea, its cold in Texas too.
The Governor of Chicago is a damned DEM!
These folks Abbott is shipping to sanctuary Illinois are choosing to go there. These are Pritzker’s charges, not non sanctuary Texas who never put out the welcome mat for them. Pritzker is trying to shake down taxpayers of the other states through the Federal government who is stiffing him right now to pay for his virtue welcome mat. He failed to get Biden to cough up the money. Now, he expects the taxpayers of Texas to foot the bill for his virtue. Abbott should double up sending them.
Pritzker can take them into his house.
I live 18 miles from the border it has been very very cold and winds like you wouldn’t believe . Of course it warms up during the day but today it’s been blisteringly cold with 30 mph winds gusting up to 40 or 50.
And hey they ask for them, they made themselves a sanctuary City, we didn’t. As far as the illegals they made a choice to leave their homes and go into the unknown.
I’m not hard-hearted and I have fed them before and I have given them blankets before and I’ve called 911 for them before but they should be in their own country.
My Response for the Governor:
Thank You for your concern, I have forwarded your communication to President Biden in the hopes that he takes up your cause.
Good Luck
That’s a distinction without a difference!
Chicago doesn’t have a governor.
Almost forgot:
Why can’t he just throw out all the paying customers at his Hyatt Hotels and move the Illegal Aliens in?
Abbott should send this in reply:
"Do not pretend to lecture the great State of Texas about 'vulnerable people's lives' unless you will join us, right here at the border, to stop this invasion. You stop this invasion, you stop the transports.
As part of our multi-state agreement, Mr. Pritzger, while you call Biden and tell him to #BuildTheWall, you should also fill the Governor's Mansion and every one of your family's billionaire homes plural with these 'vulnerable people's lives'."
why doesn’t he plead with biden to close the border??

Very easy to understand, there is/ has been/ will be lots of $$$$$$ paid out to Democrats to support open borders. Corruption.
Only problem now is those Democrats faraway from the border , who thought they would never see any illegals, are being flooded with them. I love it, outsmarted and hopefully unseated from the backlash.Do realize, those illegals aren’t leaving, they will quickly turn those cities to $hitholes, possibly for decades…..
Declaring Illinois as a sanctuary state is all cool until it comes time to do sanctuary state stuff. Jelly Belly was mugged by his own reality.
It’s warm in Venezuela. And Haiti. And Guatemala. And the Congo. China is pretty nice in the south.
Southern California is nice this time of year.
I was going to say, Abbott's hands are mostly tied, but he's managed to piss off many in the blue states and the Brandon administration. Kudos for doing that.
Fat Boy: “Please, Gov Abbott, let them die in Texas!”
WHERE ARE OUR GOP SENATE AND HOUSE MEMBERS? Complete silence ...
