I definitely see the potential here of sparking CWII.

Such an event would require a sizable number of citizens to get involved and make the sacrifice. This isn't the 1860s, I'm afraid.

Yes, this will probably be the flashpoint. However I think Abbot will back down. He’s not willing to go to war over this I don’t think. But we’ll see.

If not this, then what would cause Abbott to go to war with the Fed?

"This is not something that we wanted," Salinas said Thursday. "This is not something that we asked for as a city."

Tough sh*t.

CBS left out this important bit of information out of their article.

The Border Patrol Union lauded Texas GOP Gov. Greg Abbott's actions, saying he "is not harming Border Patrol operations, he is enhancing them."

I wonder why they omitted that, could it be they are trying to build a narrative that this is Texas Vs. the Border Patrol?

Now there’s a headline I didn’t think I’d see.....Texas had to seize back their territory. And who did they seize it back from ? Our own government! Agree with beginning of CWII.

Quite literally, every single thing the "Department of Justice" is accusing Texas of doing is what they should have been doing all along.

Another thing...most of the boots on the ground border patrol people KNOW what’s going on and don’t like it when it comes to illegal immigration. Check out this interview by Theo Von with a border patrol agent: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S035-0IQp1o

this ALLEGEDLY from the Border Patrol Union:

@BPUnion statement:

“Governor Abbott is not harming Border Patrol operations, he is enhancing them. His seizing control of Shelby Park allows our agents to deploy to troubled spots that experience high numbers of gotaways. Governor Abbott’s actions should be seen as a force multiplier.”

and @fwdude and others: that CWII you’ve been fearing has been ongoing for quite awhile now. Didn’t you catch #46’s last speech?

Yes, I hope so. We are at the point where the marxist clique running DC will never change or release their grip on power, without being bankrupted, humiliated, or having their asses forcibly kicked out by the American people.

Texas could change the entire nation by taking a principled stand here.

One thing that I’ve often wondered: I know that there are legal questions about a state’s right to enforce immigration issues at the U.S. border. I know that there are legal issues about interstate commerce. What if a state decided to block any access to the state from, say a half mile inside the border? Basically concede a small portion of the state to illegals, but control access within the state. To my tiny widdle bwain, it would seem that would be legal.

Abbot will almost certainly back down; meanwhile he is raising public awareness.

Hopefully the dilemma will play out in a court over a period of weeks where the Biden regime will have to defend the indefensible.

More likely Biden will call for 75,000 volunteers to invade Texas and put a boot on the throat of any pro-American citizen.
