Trump prosecutor Nathan Wade steps out armed with handgun after bombshell Fani Willis affair allegations — and didn’t deny tryst

Nathan Wade, the special prosecutor leading the election interference case against Donald Trump in Georgia, did not deny having an affair with his boss, Fani Willis, when he was spotted Thursday for the first time since the bombshell allegations came to light.

Wade, who appeared to be openly carrying a handgun, refused to respond — but also didn’t issue a denial — when asked by The Post if he had spent any of the $654,000 he had earned working on the Trump case to take Willis on lavish trips.

Willis is the Fulton County district attorney who brought election interference charges against the former president and 18 co-defendants.

She hired Wade, her alleged secret lover and a private attorney with the Atlanta-based Wade & Campbell Firm, to oversee the case in late 2021.

The special prosecutor arrived at his law office outside Atlanta, Georgia, in a silver Audi A8 L 4.2 Quattro — valued new at more than $100,000

...

The court filing alleged without evidence that Wade paid for lavish vacations with Willis to Florida, Napa Valley and the Caribbean, using the legal fees he’s been paid by the Fulton County DA’s Office.

The DA appears to have “solely authorized” his compensation, which reached almost $700,000 in 2021-2022 alone, according to the motion and county records.

...

Willis and Wade were romantically involved prior to Willis awarding a contract for legal services with Wade. It is not entirely clear when the relationship began, but it began while Wade was married.

....

Joycelyn Wade has been married to Nathan Wade for 26 years but the couple is estranged and in the process of divorcing.

...

Fani Willis has been subpoenaed to testify in Wade’s divorce proceedings.

Just keep kicking sand in our faces, that's what Dems do, so brash and corrupt knowing they are never ever held to account.

Questions.
Is there any rule against this type of intertwining relationship and does it seriously affect the cases this special prosecutor is litigating against President Trump and others there?
Enough to Scotch the current cases against the defendants?
So that cases go away and others would have to refile them if there are others still around there shameless and corrupt enough to do so?

These leftist criminal scum should all open carry. They’re gonna need it. Same with Ray Epps. They are all too arrogant and stupid to understand that they won’t always be protected by those who have employed them as tools.

That wasn’t “open carry” he had the gun in his hand.

Ask Mark and Patricia McCloskey how that worked out for them.

Why does he have his gun out like that (other than it’s Atlanta). Does he really think someone is going to attack him?

Perhaps we could get Fani Willis to describe all the (cough) fun ways
she and Wade burned through $650,000 of taxpayer money.

But wait.........Wade’s law firm partner got another $175,000 or so for helping out Wade.

The law firm bundle was in addition to the tax dollars Wade got as a “special prosecutor.

PLUS Fani gave S/P Wade....wait for it......a govt “expense account.”

He musta “performed” really well to get that perk....snx.

That’s what we need to see.....Willis would have done mucho
damage to taxpayers helping Wade fill out his expense account.

Once again kiddies...how is it that a low rent county DA and her smarmy entourage of small time hoods can take the words of the President of the United States out of context and arrest him?

If this were the case, no President could ever venture outside D.C. for fear of the opposing party ginning up...wait for it...trumped up charges.

And that is precisely why the immunity clause exists.

Not sure about GA.. But in many places that could be constued as assault or brandishing a deadly weapon.

In this case Trump is being charged with making a phone call into Fulton County, GA, the county seat of the capital of GA.

Mrs. Wade will stay with her cheating husband however long he has political upside. Unfortunately in Atlanta Mr. Wade can become a rock star by being the man against Trump. Mrs. Wade probably doesn’t want to cut herself from that gravy train.

Probably so, but note that he’s carrying it by what would be the balance point if it were a rifle, not by the grip or “at the ready”.

Open carry is legal in Georgia, BUT taking it out (brandishing) is not.
