House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN) endorsed Donald Trump for president Wednesday morning, the final member of the Republican House leadership team to endorse the president.

“Democrats have made clear they will use every tool in their arsenal to try to keep Joe Biden and his failed policies in power. We cannot let them,” his statement on X reads.

“It’s time for Republicans to unite behind our party’s clear frontrunner, which is why I am proud to endorse Donald J. Trump for President.”

Emmer’s endorsement comes a day after Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA), who said in a statement only one individual has the “proven track record of being able to save our country and get us back on track: Donald Trump.”

With Emmer and Scalise on board, Trump has the backing of the top five members of House GOP leadership.

Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) “wholeheartedly” endorsed Trump days after receiving his gavel during a November appearance on CNBC’s Squawk Box.

GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik (R-NY) endorsed Trump in November 2022, before he had formally entered the race. She explained her endorsement to Breitbart News that month, saying “Republican voters determine who is the leader of the Republican Party and it’s very clear President Trump is the leader of the Republican party.”

Policy Committee Chairman Gary Palmer (R-AL) endorsed Trump in advance of the President’s August 2023 rally in Alabama.

Notably, former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) endorsed Trump in December. McCarthy resigned from Congress on the final day of 2023.

The Iowa caucus takes places January 15. Former President Trump holds a commanding lead in polling.

Meh... Emmer. 40% liberal. I wish my State, and locally considering his house is on the opposite side of the County from me, had someone better to offer.

The entire Republican Party should be formally backing Trump, all of them.

Emmer puts in an appearance on the talk radio station he used to co-chair the morning show for years ago. He’s been vocal, at least on the radio, of his support for Trump.

Although, Emmer also voted for the FISA renewal too and the increases in DoD spending over and above what the FJB admin was asking for...

Thank you for referencing that article SoConPubbie. Please note that the following critique is directed to House RINOs and not at you.

"House GOP Leadership Unified Behind Donald Trump with Tom Emmer’s Endorsement"

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

A few day ago, some freeper appropriately noted that Republican leadership is an oxymoron.

In fact, many of these RINOs undoubtedly helped to protect Biden by voting not to impeach him awhile back.

Exclusive: Marjorie Taylor Greene ‘Dumbfounded’ GOP Colleagues Will Not Call for Biden’s Impeachment! (6.10.23)

And even if Trump endorses some of these RINOs, remember that he also supported Kevin McCarthy as House Speaker.

So Democratic and Republican Trump supporters who probably know the federal government's constitutionally limited powers better than Trump does need to primary everybody in Congress, except for MTG, Gaetz & Company (and others?), replacing them with patriots who will support hopeful Trump 47 to finish draining he swamp while we get Trump up to speed with the federal government's constitutionally limited powers.

Just more political posturing and kabuki theater. Many RINOs in Congress secretly hate Trump and MAGA, but they want their votes. Many of these MAGA hating RINOs need to go.

Where were the POSs for 4 years during his Presidency.

Something tells me that the Democrats are slowly shutting them out of things, it’s all dirty so there’s nothing they can do about it, and now they have to do something to maintain their spot in DC.

America...please stop electing these people.
