I think the geopolitical geomilitary position is now at a place where we will have leverage reforming NATO in the sense of Europe’s members upping their committments in military contributions and being more prepared for operations committments as well.

Unless Trump is elected, there is zero chance of that happening.

Trump was already having a positive effect on NATO as he was strengthening it, reactivating V Corps and moving it forward to Poland, killing the INF Treaty, and rebuilding our Nuclear Forces against Russia.

Today, Russia has contributed to this stronger NATO by changing almost everything about it, more members, more countries increasing their military budgets and focusing on new weapons and weapon manufacturing, ending NATO dependence on Russian energy, and new more conservative outlooks and leaders on energy and military matters.

This is not the NATO of 23 months ago.

It is ALREADY happening as some countries give as much as 4% of GDP which is well above the recommended figure of 2% which has been neglected in the past. NATO is awake now.
