Trump seems to enjoy the challenge of arguing with people who disagree with him. It does not help him get reelected and it’s just frustrating to watch.
Brett Baier and Martha McCallum sabotaged Trump when he had the so-called town hall in 2020. It was held at the Lincoln Memorial and consisted of carefully selected videotapes from around the country because of Covid. In a two hour show there were two neutral questions and one pro Trump. All the rest were attack-Trump speeches with a snarky question at the end.
Baier and McCallum seemed to have their piling-on comments ready for each one as they glanced at their notes. It was disgusting. I expect the same tonight.
