Or since this is St Paul, how about a Bible quote from St Paul himself LOL (1 Corinthians 14 34-35). (IMHO the context is it's an analogy about speaking in tongues not interrupting the church as a whole being edified, not really a law saying women shouldn't speak up in church.)

Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.

Can you imagine the reaction, if some high official said how proud they were of an all-male city council , the majority of whom were white men???

But somebody can say how great it is to have an all woman city council , the majority of whom are women of color , and that’s okay.
