Don’t worry, the republican’ts will stumble and bumble their way to the election, where they will lose seats in both the House and the Senate. And even IF they manage to retain the House and/or get a majority in the Senate, you can count on them to “reach across the aisle”, “share” power and committee chairmanships (oops, I mean chair-PERSON-ships!), and continue to pretend that they aren’t just democrats in shabbier looking suits.

You are at least partially correct. The RINOs love a 1-2 seat majority as then they can controll the agenda. Leadership is often displeased but they can do nothing as if the push the ringers they will just switch parties. Thus Republican leadership prefers a narrow minority as they are not expected to deliver much for their base.
