Most people live most of their lives within a few square miles.
It is absurd to send huge percentages of personal income to a hostile government (in my case 1100 miles away) so it can make life in those few square miles worse.
There are going to be governments that will settle for 10% to mind their own business so you can mind yours.

It doesn’t work that way. The people who want to rule over others will always defeat the people who want to be left alone.
Either you rule, or you will be ruled.
