Wayne LaPierre resigns as NRA leader, days before start of his civil trial LaPierre and three other current and former NRA leaders are facing a lawsuit that alleges they violated nonprofit laws and misused NRA funds to finance their lavish lifestyles
I can’t say I’m disappointed but wish Oliver North would step back in.
Can someone ever explain to me why I never see leftists in court?
They are the “court”?
He was great for many years as Vice President, but like many executives, got way too comfortable.
The CEO of my current employer was in the CEO seat for over 25 years. Highly unusual for a subsidiary of a Fortune 500 company. He was a good guy but had gotten way too comfortable. He was moved out and new leadership came in. Since then, we’re on our third CEO, all of whom have grown the company in dollars and stature. All good leaders. The company has almost tripled in revenue in the past several years after a decade or more of being happy with flat or slightly higher revenue.
I hope NRA focuses more on the important issues under a new leader.
Good riddance. I became a life member long before all this nonsense started and have nothing to do with them anymore. Maybe that can change now.
As a life member, I say Good Riddance. I just hope he’s not replaced by a croney.

Nugent.

Because the GOP is spineless. They want to claim Trump is personally liable for the events of January 6 and can be sued civilly.
Why hasn’t any Conservative rounded up the people who were victims of violence or crime at the hands of illegals and sued all the LW illegal immigrant advocates or politicians who let them in the country??
Why haven’t Conservatives rounded up the victims of crimes by thugs let back on the streets thanks to no bail laws and sued the politicians who favored these laws???
Simple answer- like everything else the right is light years behind the left- this time on lawfare.
He was only brought in to distract from LaPierre’s problems. He was a non-started, took the money and went back to retirement to never be heard from again.
OH THANK GOD!
Good riddance!
About 30 years too late, though.
“He was great for many years as Vice President, but like many executives, got way too comfortable.”
Great suits though.
I hope the NRA becomes effective again but doubt that will happen.
Last year, told them that I wouldn’t renew my membership until Wayne departed the NRA.
Because most of the leftwing boneheads are sitting on the juries or at the “judges” desk.
I stopped donating to the NRA when they gave money to Senate Majority Leader and rabid Demonicrat Harry Reid’s campaign.
I had paid for what I thought and was told was a “lifetime membership” over a decade ago. I still get solicitations to “renew” my membership. I can’t.
