The wife felt it in Chino, I guess the dog started barking. I was driving so I didn’t feel a thing. The epicenter is where I have gone shooting at a private outdoor range a number of times.

“I was driving so I didn’t feel a thing.”

I remember driving during an earthquake.
I was heading north on the 405 passing Santa Monica and Wilshire Boulevards.
I could see the bushes along the freeway swaying back-and-forth and I remember thinking “wow, if the wind is blowing this hard down here,
how bad could it be near my house in the northern San Fernando Valley?”
The Santa Anna winds are a lot stronger in the valley.
Got home and the wind was not blowing. I forgot all about it.
Later, I heard it was an earthquake.
