Great American Comeback, the leadership PAC aligned with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ presidential campaign, has donated nearly $100,000 to a slate of Iowa legislators who have endorsed the governor’s White House bid, according to Iowa campaign finance records.

At least 14 of the 42 Iowa state legislators who have endorsed DeSantis received donations from the leadership PAC, ranging in individual sums from $2,500 to $15,000. The first donations were made in early October, followed by several more in November and another three in December, the campaign finance records show.

Earlier this summer, DeSantis’ allies linked Great American Comeback to Team DeSantis 2024, a joint fundraising committee that also fuels his campaign, so donors can write one large check that gets divided among the entities

More cases of paying people for endorsements...

But the desantis supporters/nevertrumpers will be here soon, to say desanctimonious didn't pay anyone for their endorsement.... they endorsed him because desantis is so likable....

Just like the more people see desantis, the more his polls rise, because desantis is so likeable

See how they react to him, when he shows up!

I’ll endorse him for $15,000. I won’t vote for him, but for that kind of money I’ll pimp for him.

You cheap whore.

I’d do it for $20K though. :-)

How’d that old line go? “It’s not prostitution, silly! I go to bed with you because I LIKE you. And you give me $200 because you like ME.”

Seems kind of tacky to pay people for endorsements. I think it is so they won’t change their minds before the caucus.

President Trump uses "fear and favors" for endorsements according to the
new york slimes, but makes no comment on desanctimonious bribing for
endorsements.

Haha what about Trump being up by 60 points lolz?

Yikes. His internal polling must be even worse than being 180 degrees from his paid polls that he dishonestly parades to anyone who will still believe him. He knows he will get destroyed in Iowa because he was too cowardly to debate, he hardly campaigned there, he insulted their governor, insulted pro lifers, and today his running mate, Nikki Hailey insulted Iowans again when talking to a room full of NH folks.

Everything predicted that the angry and ego consumed Trump, who wants a brand new FBI building in the DC swamp, would say Iowa was stolen AFTER the caucuses, but not before. His campaign was a disaster. He shouldn’t have listened to the deep state uniparty people like Hailey and Lindsey Graham.

FYI: My whole family are voting for DeSantis free of charge lol.

That’s good. At least he will have a few votes anyway.

Considering how that account just restarted posting nevertrump stuff, and uses lies and mis-representations in it’s attacks, I doubt there’s a real family.

Regardless, desantis just isn’t likable, and that fact that he has to pay for his endorsements, makes his whole campaign even more phony.
