You’re right on that. I hate that people try and profit on religion. They aren’t believers or they think the fact that they are believers, supposedly, they won’t be held accountable. I hear you on that.
I don’t consider them believers because they want the good life now and damn the children.
I only know that Christianity does work, when tried. It’s the only faith, if everybody lived it, that could take us into space and the future.

That’s a pretty darn good way of articulating the problem of “original sin”, or in the shorthand I prefer, the “sin nature of man” that permeates the world as a result of the fall of First Man (Adam and Eve).
