Who are the John's? Where are their convictions in this? Who were the men who benefited from this so called human trafficking, where is their convictions?

There may be some small fish, relatively speaking, that are thrown under the bus to make us think that they are being held to account. However, as it has always been, the big fish get away in this life time and are subject to the Judgement that we all will face eventually. There is no escaping that.
