Thursday on Fox Business Network’s “Varney & Company,” Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) criticized the hypocrisy of blue state governors and mayors who have criticized him and his state’s effort to send illegal immigrants to their so-called sanctuary cities and states.
“Some of the mayors of big sanctuary cities in America — they blame you for what’s going on, blame you for the migrants going to their cities,” FBN host Stuart Varney said. “You’re smiling, but would you like to give us a response?”
“Yes, I mean, they should be embarrassed because it is utter hypocrisy,” Abbott replied. “For all — for one, all these mayors are mayors of sanctuary cities. And they say, oh, bring us your migrants. And we sent them migrants. And now they’re complaining about it. It shows they’re hypocrites. It shows that Democrats truly are a party against illegal immigrants, except when it’s confined only to states like Texas.”

He should have asked Varney, “Stuart, you’re a smart guy. Why don’t you acknowledge the democrats’ hypocrisy?”
Here’s something I wondered about..if the invaders are in a sanctuary city how do they get deported if they’re there in that sanctuary? Is this why most of them want to go to NYC, Chicago, Denver?
If these people were capable of embarrassment, they would never show their faces again.
I read a story yesterday in which the write spoke to a dizzy Karen in Joliet, Ill. who said it hurts for her to demand that the miggies stay the hell out of her city because she “really cares”. ROTFLMAO!
We need more people like him in government.
Abbott should get a Nobel prize for coming up and executing that brilliant idea.
Consider using Amtrak trains Texas Eagle to Chicago and the Sunset Limited to LA to move thousands more illegals out of Texas. Both coach fares are relatively cheap and again, you can move far more bodies by train than bus or plane. Send train loads of illegals to the sanctuaries they are trying to get to.
They are not capable of embarrassment.
"These people" are high-functioning psychopaths and sociopaths. They cannot be affected by appeals to their "better nature" as they have none.
They must be removed from positions of authority by other means.
Yes one thing many don’t think about the government tells us we have a water and food housing shortage yet they want millions of illegals in to help use it up at a faster rate.
Abbott has toned up his rhetoric. I suspect he is looking at being Trump’s Vice President.
Note to Abbott: Texas’s elections are still not secured.

Please NO. We need someone who leads, not waits for the wind to blow and then claims credit.
I am no fan of Governor Abbott. But it looks like he may be making a case to become Trump’s Vice Presidential nominee. He is fundamentally a moderate, but his strengths are that he is handicapped, he is Catholic, and his wife is Hispanic. He also has a good record of bringing Hispanic votes into the Republican column. I would prefer somebody more on the Trump ideological side, such as Tucker Carlson but that is not my decision to make.
He's running for reelection.
