The Economic Times must want to give Giuffre a few million dollars for libel. The outcome of Giuffre’s lawsuit against Ghislane Maxwell and the outcome of the prosecution of Ghislane Maxwell settled the fact that Giuffre was an exploited minor and most definitely NOT Epstein’s girlfriend.
Amplifying a ‘rumor’ that has been discredited in court is libel.
I hope she sues these people into oblivion.
I noticed that, too.
But they were careful to call Jeffrey Epstein an “alleged” pedophile.
Epstein was convicted in 2008 in Florida of procuring a child for prostitution and of soliciting a prostitute.
If she gets paid, I’m fine with it. But I don’t see her as a sacred victim. In the photos I’ve seen of her like with Prince Andy, she is grinning and looking like she’s having the best day of her life.
She wasn’t taken against her will, she was late 17 and stayed until 19. Got a free trip to Thailand to learn massage.
When I was her age I was getting 25 cents a bale I think to haul and put away hay in Texas, in July.
I think I would have preferred a Caribbean beach and the company of rich members of the opposite sex.
She’s no better than them. She was old enough to know it was morally wrong. But the jet set is fun. She aged out and now she wants to get paid. But she’s no whistleblowing hero.
