Despite the SEC being stronger than the ACC (home of recent repeat champs Clemson) the ACC is not nuthin’.

Denying an undefeated Big 5 conference champ, led by Coach of the Year, is dispiriting. Coming from the dumps, FSU was the David among Goliaths,

FSU with 2nd string quarterback (WITH those 15 cry-baby holdouts) was the most interesting bowl game of the year, imho....until it wasn’t. Georgia wasn’t the team of last year, or ‘21.

College Football Champions since 1869.

The SEC has dominated the national championships since the introduction of the BCS and CFP systems. An SEC team has been in the finals of the CFP every year since 2015. They have won 5 of the last 6 national championships and the last four in a row.

Georgia wasn’t the team of last year, or ‘21.

True, but it still was clearly among the best four teams. And they have the best rated recruiting class next year followed by Alabama at number 2.
