According the webster it reads:

“an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government.

This is the definition of insurrection.

The act of denying Trump the opportunity of freedom based upon the 14th amendment which reads

Section 3 Disqualification from Holding Office

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof...

violates his rights to run for office based upon accusations without proof. Therefore the Supreme Court of Colorado has committed an act of insurection by attacking the rights of an American citizen without proof or even a trial.

https://constitution.congress.gov/browse/amendment-14/section-3/#:~:text=No%20person%20shall%20be%20a,a%20member%20of%20any%20State

Their action should be investigated, their files confiscated, and their law licenses revoked until afer trial as they have violated their oath:

I [name], do [select swear, affirm, or swear by the everliving God] that I will support the constitution of the United States, the constitution of the state of Colorado, and the laws of the state of Colorado, and will faithfully perform the duties of the office of [name of office or position] upon which I am about to enter to the best of my ability.

They committed insurection. And it is the same with the Sec of State for Maine.

You are spot on with that. I’m not a lawyer but have been involved in a few legal situations at work. Sitting in meetings the discussion has often been about the process....and the legality of various approaches and what angles would get us into trouble if they were pursued and which would not.

These people are operating as if none of that exists....as if the legal process allows them complete protection and immunity to make any accusation they want with zero consequences.

I’m oft reminded of the first codified legal system.....the 10 Commandments. While half of these provided a cursory code of how people relate to each other there is no further differentiation of one ‘part of the code’ having more weight than another.....thus while there are commandments addressing stealing and murder there is also an equal one dealing with the ‘bearing of false witness’. People ignore this at their peril....
