Last Thursday, Tennessee Republican Tim Burchett was the guest on the "Benny Show" podcast hosted by Benny Johnson. The topic of why conservative members of Congress vote for really un-conservative stuff came up, and Burchett's answer caused jaws to drop all over the country.
"Here's how it works," he said.
“You’re visiting—you’re out of the country or out of town or you’re in a motel or at a bar in D.C.—and whatever you’re into—women or men or whatever—comes up and they’re very attractive, and they’re laughing at your jokes. And you’re buying them a drink. Next thing you know, you’re in the motel room with them naked,”
And the next thing, you're about to make a key vote an what happens? Some well-dressed person comes out and whispers in your ear, ‘Hey, man, there’s tapes out on you.’ Or, ‘Were you in a motel room or whatever with whoever?’ And then you’re like, ‘Uh-oh.’ And they say, ‘You really ought not be voting for this thing.’”
Burchett also gave his views on why all the flight logs of Jeffrey Epstein's "Lolita Express" haven't been made public.
Too many of my colleagues, I’m afraid, are compromised in this area for whatever reason,” Mr. Burchett told Newsmax this week. “Somebody whispered in their ear saying, "Hey, you don’t want something to come out on something else, you better keep your mouth shut on this." That’s exactly what they’ve done. And it continues to go whether it's the "honey pot" the Russians used or something worse, I don't known. But it's clearly, you see that up and down the line. You see good conservatives vote for liberal policies.
Florida Representative Anna Paulina Luna agreed:
I don't know how much Burchett knows, but I don't think he's the kind of guy to beclown himself by making a statement like this if it's false, because the chances of contradiction are just too high.
What we do know is that conservative Congressmen seem to be uniquely at risk for allegations of sexual impropriety. The case of Madison Cawthorn, for instance, resonates strongly with Burchett's story. Matt Gaetz was hit with what looks like spurious allegations of sex trafficking. And yes, there are enough very strange votes by conservatives that make you scratch your head, and Burchett provides a very easy-to-believe "unified field theory" to explain their actions. It also reminds us of the "Pence Rule." This rule, made famous by former vice president Mike Pence but used by sane men from time immemorial, says you don't have private dinners or meetings with members of the opposite sex...or the same sex, if you bat for that team. The outcry was so loud and vociferous — Vox.com (naturally) found an employment lawyer to claim that it was illegal behavior — that is, it was nearly suspicious-sounding.
I hope that, if Burchett has proof of this, he leaks more details to someone not afraid to run with the story, because it makes no sense to spend your time and money working for conservative senators and congressmen if they lose control of their libidos and allow themselves to be sexually compromised.

Burchett is from Tennessee
Everyone plausibly suspects this.
HOWEVER, the Congressman offers no substantiation of the assertion. None.
Zip. Nada.
It’s so interesting that you would mention Ted Kennedy and Chappaquiddick as a possible blackmailing. Ted’s history at that time has been all cleaned up on the internet since then but it’s highly likely.
The Deep State had to get rid of the Kennedy guys. They couldn’t trust them. They bumped off the two older brothers and got away with it. The country couldn’t have all three of them assassinated. What could they do? Ted had already shown himself to be a cheater while at Harvard. They could get rid of him as a presidential contender with Chappaquiddick - leaving a girl to die in a car.
Immediately after it happened there was a comedian named Mort Stahl or Saul who spoke out repeatedly that it had been a set-up. He was blackballed immediately by NBC,ABC, etc. and never got to be on his old shows like the Tonight Show. He spoke of how every newspaper and tv station in the country had news reports of the drowning almost before the police in Martha’s Vinyard did. Sound familiar? Martha’s Vinyard, Obama, the chef?
It’s so prevalent, they even have a Congressional slush fund to cover up their escapades.
The recipients of the fund should be made public, it’s only fair to the voters.
I think Burchett maube was looking in the mirror when he said that, and without evidence one should not say such a thing.
I went back to the internet to find the name of Lyndon Johnson’s aide, Bobby Baker, who had a hotel in Rehobeth where he brought many young ladies from DC to meet with lobbyists and politicians. The Carousel Hotel. Look what I found:
” According to W. Penn Jones Jr.: “Bobby Baker was about the first person in Washington to know that Lyndon Johnson was to be dumped as the Vice-Presidential candidate in 1964. Baker knew that President Kennedy had offered the spot on the ticket to Senator George Smathers of Florida... Baker knew because his secretary. Miss Nancy Carole Tyler, roomed with one of George Smathers’ secretaries. Miss Mary Jo Kopechne had been another of Smathers’ secretaries.” (14)
I think it’s easier than that. Leftists know they can get elected by pretending to be conservatives. All they have to do is talk a good game every two years.
Jesse Unruh (D) long time Speaker of the California House, to new Members: “If you can’t eat their food, drink their liquor, fuck their women, and vote the right way when the time comes - you don’t belong up here”.
A piece of good advice for the weak Republicans.
You might be correct. I have not seen evidence of it. Kennedy especially had a long history as a womanizer, cheater, and drinker. His brothers were the same way.
No, he only had an affair with himself.
A doctor once said to me that roughly 50% of people have some sort of curable or incurable venereal disease.
Ufo stuff is nutty psyop crap.
“THE HONEY TRAP”
It only works against stupid republicans and conservatives who are fearful of their sexual peccadilloes being made public.
It doesn’t work against democrats because they cannot be controlled by threats of publicizing details of their sexual perversions.
Democrats are not embarrassed if people know they are sexual perverts.
They just don’t care if the public knows that they are queers, pedophiles, animal humping zoophiles, serial rapists or some other variety of sexual pervert.
A prime example is President Biden and the well publicized facts of him forcing his underage daughter to take naked showers with him.
Conservatives are shocked by Biden forcing his young daughter into an incestuous relationship.
Democrats see nothing wrong with it.
In fact they are working hard to legalize adults having sex with children.
This happens!
When I was in the Philippines in 1987-88, while in the Marine Corps, we had a Gunny who was married and was butterflying up and down Magsaysay Drive in Olongapo! He would always hold work orders given early in the week until Friday, and would not let us have off-base leave because “we have too much work”.
Of course, three weekends of this and we Marines were not very happy. So, two of my buddies made arrangements with one of the married sailors. The sailor’s wife was Philippino and she had pictures taken of the Gunny in various “compromising” situations. Those pictures were dropped on his cot with a note stating the next set goes to your wife (with his home address listed) if weekend liberty was not given.
We never had a weekend liberty held up after that! LOL!
