Well, unless you had the forethought to store gasoline or diesel, you would be in the same boat as the EVs. No power, no pumps either. Some stations do have generator backup in some areas, but none around me do. At least there is nothing to indicate they do. No exhaust pipes for generators or anything other than normal looking buildings. And when the power goes out, they close down, too.
True that. When our daughter lived on the gulf coast she said the gas stations near her would be out when the power was out from a hurricane. IMHO self-reliance is more important than the usual arguments of EV vs ICE cars.
