The “journalist” is a coward. The most dangerous cities have large black populations. Having a Democrat mayor is more of a symptom that may exacerbate the situation. The cause however, is a large percentage of blacks.

What else do the high crime cities have in common? Large black populations. That is almost always the factor that determines high crime. The same population elects America hating, civilization hating Democrats.

It’s not surprising that the cities with the worst crime are run by democrats. Criminals vote for criminals who will give them a pass, and often, outright support for their criminality.

meanwhile, this completely drops off states with no cities larger than 100k
the largest city in vermont is 42k and has a crime rate of 5536 per 100k... higher than those on this list... BUT, the overall state of vermont has a crime rate of 118 per 100k.
just proving the cities, ie: democrat hangouts, are crime laden even in the most peaceful states.
which points to population density, racial composition, or political control as being the keys to crime.
