I lost my wife to breast cancer in Jan,'79 when she was 28 and my girls were 4 and 1. Sadly, Christmas is a reminder of how her body was failing so Christmas can be very depressing.
I never remarried and flying solo has become the norm.
Anyway....Merry Christmas you filthy animals!
