Exactly.
A person is more dead than if they got shot with a stolen gun, one obtained by a straw buyer or one provided by the atf./sarc

I wonder if Mark Collins can cite any example of any crime being solved by tracing the firearm used. Exactly. I don't necessarily believe this story but either way, I have never seen any data on how many crimes are solved because a firearm had a serial number on it.
Also, requiring serial numbers would seem to go against Bruen as it is a recent regulation.

I couldn’t get past the huge screen that insisted I turn off my ad blocker. But I looked up ghost guns.
“A ghost gun is a unregistered and untraceable homemade weapon that lacks a serial number1234. Ghost guns can be made with a 3D printer or assembled from a kit that can be bought online without a background check124. Ghost guns are legal in most states, but they can pose a challenge for law enforcement when used in a crime”

Not completely true. It also includes guns where the serial number was removed and antique guns that did not have serial numbers. Of course the media doesn’t make that distinction.

How many of those were 3D printed for “buyback” events/gift cards, with no real intent to ever assemble into a firearm.

The 9mm Luger Polymer80 ghostgun found by police was loaded.
Overall, 706 ghost guns have been taken statewide so far in 2023,
compared to just 100 in 2019, according to the New York State police.

The only crimes were those of the politicians and their police seizing citizens’ constitutionally/ protected private property. These criminals should be thrown in Prison

Gangs used to make “zip guns” by boring a hole in a block of wood .22 inches in diameter, and lashing a car antenna to it, then driving a nail through the antenna for a firing pin. You put the .22 cartridge in the hole, pull back the car antenna, and-kapowee!, the nail pierces the rimfire cartridge, sending the single bullet flying. Then I guess you eject the spent cartridge with a kitchen fork and stick another one in there.
Is that POS a “ghost gun”? Or does it use a narrow pipe and a diabetes testing finger pricker for the firing pin?

A lot of guns made by reputable manufacturers until a half century ago were “ghost” guns as well. Many didn’t stamp serial numbers unless they were dealing with military contracts.
