Respiratory illnesses/colds/ flue always have increase this time of year throughout New Years and beyond. It spreads during Holiday shopping, company gatherings, and schools where kids bring it home from other kids.

.... Retail store employees are especially ripe at spreading these among workers and the public because they're working to make extra money for the Holidays - they do not stay home when ill. And the public ‘touches’ everything when shopping.

I've never worked where the entire workforce didn't get some “winter’ illness - went throughout the business. Not to mention all the illegals now bringing in their stuff.
