That’s what occurs to me too.
We were told by these Democrats that we are supposed to save democracy and all of that.
But when it comes to elections they want to take Republicans off the ballot.
They believe in free and fair elections only if you get to vote for a Democrat.
How is that fundamentally different from elections in communist countries , where the only candidates on the ballot are communist?
It’s not at all different, but try to tell my brainwashed Leftost mom this, and she starts ranting about Trump being a dictator who must be stopped. I then ask why not allow him to have an election so he loses and is humiliated, and she saws most people are dumb enough he could win.
It’s fascinating how little sense she makes as she excuses an authoritarian Biden administration do what authoritarian governments have always done through history to keep power and limit choice and freedoms.
