I'm one of those "humans".
The unknown side effects of the injectable med is, IMO, worth risking vs the known effects that being overweight was causing. This conclusion was reached under the advisement of a 30+ year RN I keep on hand (SO).
Started with Keto to get things rolling and now easing back into something of a more "normal", but still carb conscience diet. Down 40#s and still going.
A lot of people have things they should "just stop" doing but won't.
A lot of people on the net live idyllic lives but they're extremely elusive in realtime.
Careful with those rocks.
Not my problem. I've been on a low-carb diet since 1974. And thanks to that and exercise, I keep my weight down (160lbs), have low BP and the rest.
On the occasions when I have gone off keto, my weight jumped up, my BP and cholesterol skyrocketed.
In so far as enjoying the low carb diet the answer is NO. I prefer pancakes and biscuits for breakfast and pizza and pasta and beer for dinner. But that doesn't work.
So you can keep your rocks. My diet isn't any fun and I don't like the way it tastes, but it keeps me healthly.
