I don’t agree. The state has a responsibility to respond to customer needs, those rest areas are open seven days a week, often 24 hours. Vendors choosing to be there need to be open for visitors.
Hmmm. Maybe you have a point. If 7 days a week is how other vendors are expected to do.
NY morons entered into an agreement with a major company that is partially famous for closing one day a week.
The company hasn’t changed so my guess is the morons in NY that thought this was a brilliant idea, have moved on, and new morons don’t want that company running 6 days a week, or the 7th..
They want them out..
Let The State open its own restaurant, then.
guess you don’t drive the thru way, many vendors are closed various hours. I was just at some of those rest stops ( the ones not closed for renovations ) 2 months ago and only 1-2 vendors open inside, more were not operating and this was during morning traffic heading north on week day. same for late afternoon traffic heading south on a week day.
